We first broke the news yesterday – now Whitenake and Def Leppard’s appearances at Download 2009 have been announced officially. Confirmed as a second main stage headliner alongside masked metallers Slipknot are Def Leppard, who return to Donington Park after a 23 year gap, having played Monsters Of Rock in 1986.
