UPDATE: Metallica were joined by Ozzy Osbourne, Geezer Butler, Dave Mustaine, Jason Newsted, Lloyd Grant, Ron McGovney and Mike Bordin for the final show on Saturday, December 10. On the previous night, Metallica’s guests were Rob Halford, Jerry Cantrell. Gary Rossington, Glenn Danzig, Pepper Keenan and Animal from the Anti-Nowhere League.

Woolfson was a key driving force behind The Alan Parsons Project, writing all the lyrics and contributing some lead vocals. Additionally, he wrote songs for the likes of Marianne Faithfull, Frank Ifield and The Tremeloes.

Woolfson was also involved with the musical theatre. He was hoping to bring his masterpiece Poe to European stages next year.
