Dave Davies is recognised as one of the pioneers of the guitar sound that’s helped to define rock and metal over the past 45 years and more. As The Kinks continue their reissue programme (their first three albums will be put out in deluxe formats next month), he talks to Classic Rock about these albums and his thoughts on a reunion.
Details have now been released on the new William Shatner album, and he’s got a major list of rockers involved.
