Four postcards with photos from the Rocks era and artwork reproductions for the singles Home Tonight, Back In The Saddle and Last Child.

This comes after he fell over in his hotel bathroom in Paraguay a couple of days ago. As a result he lost two front teeth and bruised his face. This has led to speculation that the accident was caused by alcohol or drugs problems. However talking on US TV show Today, the Aerosmith frontman said:

“People thinking that is natural and normal. We flew last night from Paraguay after that incident and we’re in Argentina for two hours. And anyone who knows anyone who uses substances wouldn’t be up at this hour having a talk with Matt Lauer and the rest of America. It’s nothing I don’t understand. It makes me a little upset. But people think that.”

It’s now thought Tyler might have been suffering from food poisoning, and he was onstage with Aerosmith the next night.

Although no details are close to being confirmed, it appears that film maker Ron Howard has bought the movie rights to Tyler’s autobiography Does The Noise In My Head Bother You?, and the Aerosmith singer told Women’s Wear Daily: “(The film will be made) either as soon as the plane goes down, or in my lifetime”.

Posting online, producer Jack Douglas had this to say about the as yet untitled record: “The new album should be out around May 2012. I know that’s a long wait, but after the South American tour and Japan in October, November and December, we will just get back to work on it in mid-January.

“For those who are asking, this album will be raw, nasty, tough rock with a good deal of the old Aerosmith tongue in cheek.”

In other news, there are unconfirmed reports that Tyler is to team up with X Factor pair Jedward (yes, them!) for a remake of the Aerosmith classic Walk This Way. Shudder!

Seriously, the Aerosmith frontman and the actor have been hanging out and working together.

Blabbermouth report that Tyler says of the collaboration: “He’s someone I’ve admired greatly for such a long time. The idea of writing songs with him is a dream come true.”

In other Tyler news, the man’s been nominated for an Emmy in the category Outstanding Performer In An Animated Programme. This is for his role as The Mad Hatter in the TV series Wonder Pets!.

Talking to forbes.com, the one-time Van Halen frontman (who’s now the vocalist with Chickenfoot) said:

“I was asked at one time to be in Motley Crue. I was asked at one time to be in Pantera by their managers. I was asked to be in Velvet Revolver when Scott Weiland quit and went back to the Stone Temple Pilots. I was waiting to be asked to be in Led Zeppelin to say no, since they were the greatest band on earth and nobody could replace Robert Plant. I was asked to be in Aerosmith and I said no. Certain bands and certain front man singers are more difficult to replace than others. Steven Tyler and that band have stayed together for 40 years and you don’t to walk into something like that.”
