Yorke’s Way

Radiohead’s Thom Yorke has got Flea playing bass in his new band.

The Red Hot Chili Pepper man joins drummer Joey Waronker (who’s worked with The Smashing Pumpkins), percussionist Mauro Refosco and Radiohead producer Nigel Godrich, who’s on guitar.

Says Yorke: “We don’t really have a name and the set will not be very long because, well, we haven’t got that much material yet!”

The band start touring later this week, with two night at the Orpheum Theatre in Los Angeles on October 4 and 5.
