Wrathchild To Play Hard Rock Hell
Better get that confetti-fuelled bazooka out of mothballs – because Wrathchild, the self-styled ’sultans of sleaze’, have just been confirmed for this year’s Hard Rock Hell III festival.
Wrathchild are still fronted by vocalist Rocky Shades but the other band members’ identities are unknown at present.
Shades would only say in a recent Internet posting: “Wrathchild-UK is the next-generation Wrathchild, which is basically Rocky Shades and four younger, damn good-looking, kitty-pulling dudes.”
The HRH III billing is shaping up as follows:

is it me or does the new lline just appears to be rocky shades, with his david lee roth tribute (which were not good) backing band?
where is lance rocket, marc angel and eddie……come on rocky not really wrathchild is it?
is Rocky promoting this as Wrathchild? how is it wrathchild without ANY of the other former members? dont any of ‘em want to join him in the ‘reunion? what is four younger, damn good-looking, kitty-pulling dudes? this bloke sounds like a right twat and probably a pain in the arse to work with. how can the fu**ing idiot think of sharing the stage with bands like Queensryche and WASP? not the same league! Blackie put up with it in the 80’s for a tour, so why not have another go.

No guys, I can say that Wrathchild arent just DLW (The Roth tribute) rebranded. Only one member is in both projects (apart from Rocky of course!).
DLW will continue to gig and obviously we wish Rocky and the lads all the best.

The classic wrathchild line up for me can only ever be Lance Rokket, Marc Angel, Eddie Star, Rocky Shades – no substitutes will do – ever, ever!!.I ‘d feel pretty miffed too if I paid for a Motley Crue ticket and only Vince turned up with a bunch of session guys. Sorry Rocky but some guys just dont cut it on their own.
I have heard that Spike from The Quireboys will be a guest at the Wrathchild preview show.
It looks like he will be giving his approval of the new Wrathchild line up.
I hope i can say hi to Spike at the show.
