Win a pair of limited-edition Motorheadphones!
Limited Edition cased cans up for grabs!
Attention, all you beer drinkers and hellraisers: check out the new range of headphones from grizzled veterans of balls-out speed rock, Motörhead, bringing you models with suitably heavy monikers like The Motörizer, Iron Fist and Bomber.
There are also earphones available – Overkill and Trigger – but we’re gonna focus on the over-ear heavy metal cans. As the band themselves say, these are “no weak-kneed, lily-livered, tin-pot and skinny-sounding little pieces of garbage, no, that ain’t Motörhead’s style”.
They’re all black, of course, and all quite similar to look at. The Motörizer (£129.99) – the heftiest of the lot – feature high-power speakers to give you smooth bass and clear and distinct mid- and high-range frequencies. Designed for DJs, they have turnable ear-cups for single-side listening, and can connect to your smartphone to adjust the volume, pause, play, fast forward and rewind and more.
The Iron Fist (£99.99) are slightly less hefty on the head, but also feature powerful speakers, while the daintiest set, the Bombers (£79.99), are lighter still – yet, according to the band, still “Motörhead-proof and tour safe; these bastards stand and deliver”. They also feature the ‘Controlizer’ smartphone functionality. The main sell, though, is that they’re designed for loudness.
In truth, wearing these is the closest you’ll get to living like Lemmy and co, because if you try to match his lifestyle in any other way, we’re legally obliged to inform you that you will die.
Drooling over these Motörheadphones? We don’t blame you. We’ve got a Limited Edition Iron Fist set to give to one lucky Classic Rock reader.
Each of only 100 Limited Edition individually numbered sets made includes the Iron Fist headphones, unique signed letters from the band, accessories and a DVD from Motörhead, and come in a stencilled flight case. Cool, or what!
