Bruce Springsteen, AC/DC and Metallica were among the biggest earners last year.All three were in the top 10 money makers of 2009, according to Billboard.
Springsteen appears at number two on the list, making just over $57 million for himself. AC/DC are at number four, earning a little over $43 million, while Metallica come in at number 10, with $25.5 million.
hate them for that ;DD what can u do with that much money adn bruce…57mil for himself…hes 2 fucking old to spend that amoun of money ;D
Well , there you go , that´s what it´s all about , money ! corporate rock , it´s here to stay and suckers like me will continue to pay over inflated prices to see over weight pensioners who , I´ve followed for 35 years , the thing is , I love music and I love the thrill of the concert , But , shame on the lot of ´em !
I don’t grudge Bruce a penny – the man’s a genius and worth every penny! If you’re reading this Bruce – please send me 1 million pounds – you’ll never even notice it’s gone!
Fair play to them I say – having had the pleasure of seeing them all last year; I thought all 3 were fantastic and I left all the gigs feeling like I’d got my money’s worth!
