The very best in rock past and present is Freddie Mercury. His vocal range surpassed many and songs were written and performed in just about all styles of music to include jazz, opera and heavy metal.

Freddie Mercury’s had a wide vocal range and wrote and performed diverse styles of music successfully. Plus his interviews were very entertaining. Fred knew the art of entertaining in every way and he was so damn Great may he rest in peace. Mr Mercury will always live.

As I’ve never heard of Glenn Hughes, I feel rather confident is saying he is NOT the voice of rock.

The best voices in rock are Robert Plant and Steve Perry.

Honorable mention goes to Freddie Mercury and Paul Rodgers.
