Whitesnake Announce Extra European Tour Dates
Whitesnake have updated their touring itinerary for this coming May and June. Included in the band’s schedule is a long-awaited, high-profile enormodome appearance in the, er… Isle Of Man.
In addition to the previously announced appearance at Download on June 14, David Coverdale and his troops will play:
May 02 – Sandnes, Norway – Classic Rock Festival
May 22 – Halden, Norway – Frederiksten Fortress
May 23 – Trondheim, Norway – Trondheim Rock Feast
May 25 – Bergen, Norway – Platehallen Arenum
May 28 – Oulo, Finland – Ice Hockey Arena
May 30 – Umeå, Sweden – Kajen
Jun. 03 – Luxemborg, Luxemborg – Differdange Sport Hall
Jun. 04 – Paris, France – Casino de Paris
Jun. 06 – Heerhugowaard, Netherlands – De Waerdse Temple
Jun. 07 – Brussels, Belgium – Ancienne Belgique
Jun. 09 – Isle Of Man, UK – Villa Marina Gardens
Does anybody think he will announce dates in the UK that aren’t the Isle of Man with the exception of Download? Is this with Def Leppard, or are they doing a tour where *shock horror* Def Leppard aren’t playing above them *fingers crossed*?

I can just imagine David & the boys waiting for the Isle of Man ferry from Liverpool or Heysham.
It’s not going to be cheap for mainlanders as the ferry price to IOM is around £80 return around that time! I found a flight from London which was much cheaper until the taxes were added so it ends up about the same price!!
You don’t see the IOM on the tour list everyday – would like to go, but the cost might well deter me.
£80 return is if you travel on foot – good job the Villa Marina is within walking distance of the ferry port! Ive paid £200 for a return trip with a bike. That’s just for the ferry!! Ive not even thought about buying a ticket yet.
love it if they would come to Wales again, mabye Cardiff. Whitesnake are awesome, and DC for me, is definately the best Rock Singer, bettter than Plan for sure. And whats with this, Def Leppard Headlining with Whitesnake under then, what a load of Bollocks! Whitesnake kicks Def Leppard’s arse.
