W.A.S.P. To Play Special Sweden Rock Show

W.A.S.P. are to do a special set at Sweden Rock next year.
The band will only play songs from their first two albums, W.A.S.P. (1984) and The Last Command (1985).
Hold your horses, however. This does not necessary mean that mainman Blackie Lawless will be including Animal (Fuck Like A Beast) – a song he recently said he would never play live again.
Although Animal… was W.A.S.P.’s first single, it was not included on the original vinyl version of their debut album. However, Animal… was added on subsequent CD editions – so you never know.
Sweden Rock happens from June 9-12 at Solvesborg.

saw em at JB’s last week…great gig….blackie in fine voice…pity about the recorded backing vocals though…
lets hope he turns up then because in swansea tonight, the diva pulled out at 7 pm while everyone was queueing outside with a poor excuse of he was too ill to perform, i find that hard to believe after playing a great show in ondon the night before,seriously pissed off with prima donna rock stars still living in the 80s, blackie if this cancellation was your fault then you want to take a leaf out of dave meniketti’s book, the legend played a show in newcastle in nov with barely a voice. a true rock star
It’s a pity that they couldn’t be bothered to play the Swansea date on their UK tour last night rumoured to be because Blackie Lawless didn’t like the venue they were due to play!!Alot of people were left very disappointed and if that is the reason,the band should be ashamed!!
