Vultures Set To Circle Over Brixton Tonight

gbarton / News / 26/08/2009 17:35pm

Brand new supergroup Them Crooked Vultures are believed to be making their UK live debut tonight (August 26).

In case you’ve been down a cave in Borneo for the past few weeks, we should remind you that Them Crooked Vultures are formed from members of Foo Fighters (Dave Grohl), Queens Of The Stone Age (Josh Homme) and Led Zeppelin (John Paul Jones).

Them Crooked Vultures are set to support Arctic Monkeys at their O2 Academy Brixton gig in London, according to reports.

Them Crooked Vultures are also rumoured to be appearing at the Reading and/or Leeds festivals this coming Bank Holiday weekend, possibly under the pseudonym Those Knock-Kneed Seagulls. Or maybe The Hunch-Backed Cormorants, who knows?

They guys owned Brixton, or perhaps the whole London last night. And Dave Grohl is pretty much god. Excellent gig, reviewed here:
