Vince Neil rushed to hospital
Motley Crue have been forced to cut short a live set after frontman Vince Neil complained of “internal pain.”
The band ended their show early in Sydney, Australia last night (Sunday) and Neil was taken to hospital for tests. No further information has become available.
Writing on Twitter, bassist Nikki Sixx said: “Sorry for a short set but Vince had to be rushed to the hospital for internal pain. Will update you on his progress.”
Last year Neil played through the pain barrier when he took to the stage in Canada with a fractured foot.
Sixx last week revealed the band were planning to retire after completing work on their The Dirt movie, releasing one more studio album and hitting the road for a farewell tour.
He said: “It’s important that when you do a farewell tour that people understand. When you put a bullet in the back of the horse’s head and it goes down, it’s not a plastic bullet – it’s a fucking shotgun blast. Blow its fucking brains out. It’s never coming back.”
