Velvet Revolver’s Search For A New Singer Nearing The End

Velvet Revolver are only “weeks away” from announcing their new singer, according to bassist Duff McKagan.
“It’s down to a couple of guys,” McKagan told Rolling Stone. “That’s way down from the 400 original guys we got submissions from.”
Don’t expect it to be another temperamental superstar like Scott Weiland.
“It’s not like Chris Cornell or one of those guys,” says the former Guns N’ Roses member. “We just want someone that fits. It can’t just be good. It has to be amazing or we won’t do it.”

Didnt Classic rock say that the Million Dollar Reload singer was the new VR singer? come on VR make an announcement.! Hope it isnt him though. MDR are soooo much better than VR.
please a REAL singer and a MELODIC one able to sing high pithced songs as Axl did

I hope they get someone who doesn’t have an ego. There are enough stars in the band. Please let it be someone who is going to earn his name through the band, and respected for the work he’ll do rather than the work he’s done.

i just want VR to get on with it the fans have bin waiting to long now i think Lenny Kravitz would be great but thats not gonna happen is it i would love to here some new material from them
