Velvet Revolver Audition Tapes Leaked

A vocalist from the recent audition sessions for velvet Revolver has leaked the tapes from their casting.
Gord Prior, frontman with Canadian band Blu Bones, has leaked the tapes from his audition with Velvet Revolver. The tracks from these leaked tapes are tentatively titled ‘Motha Fucka’ and ‘Clappy’.

Velvet Revolver have been looking for a singer since they fired Scott Weiland in April of last year, with Million Dollar Reload frontman Phil Conalane still considered to be the front runner for the job.
A recent story does suggest that the band are close to finding a new vocalist.

He’s no Scott Weiland. And he’s certainly no Axl. The tunes aren’t quite hitting the spot either.

Ha ,Sounds to me like Phil Conalane turned this down!! Hes to good for Velvet Revolver anyway. Saw Million Dollar Reload at Hard Rock Hell , they`re sooo much better than VR. Axl rules!!

Backing vocals sound suspiciously like Axl.I really do think its all a publicity stunt and the real Guns N Roses are getting back together.Axls record bombed(cos it was shit!),VR need a new vocalist and Axls desperate
I think Justin Hawkins from the darkness would be an awsome frontman, he is so much better than Axl and Weiland and prob a bit too rock n roll for VR.
Rod Jackson will not get anywhere near VR, read Slash’s book and you will get all the reasons why Slash wont ever work with him again. But I think he should sound out Eric Dover, he did a fantastic job on the first Snakepit album
The guy sounds like a cross-over of a Shit Axl and Weiland so you can see why he at least got an audition.
But seriously, the songs were so bland and unimaginative.
