Ulrich: “I’m In The New Guns N’ Roses Video”
Lars Ulrich has confirmed that he is in the forthcoming video for Guns N’ Roses’ ‘Better’. What is he doing in the clip? Come and find out.
The rumour first broke on December 30th that the Metallica drummer was holding up the release of the clip but, nearly a month on from this, there is still no sign of the video.
“I have heard about this, yes.” Ulrich admitted to Rolling Stone. “There was a couple of clips of me in the video and they asked if I would sign off on it. When it got to me, I signed off on the one clip…I don’t know where (the rumor) came from. I’d love to be in a Guns n’ Roses video. It’s my favorite song on the record — I think it’s a great song.”
“I can’t wait for the video to come out,” continues Ulrich. “There’s a shot of me and Axl embracing backstage at some concert, and I signed off that, and hopefully it’ll make it in the final cut.”
Ulrich also spoke to Classic Rock and revealed that he would love to drum for Deep Purple if there was a reformation of the mark iii line-up. Metallica have just been inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame and revealed that they want their induction to be drama-free.
