The strained relationship between Joe Perry and Steven Tyler took a slightly worrying turn, when Aerosmith played at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto on August 17.
During Love In An Elevator, which should be retitled Shove In An Elevator, Tyler playfully bumped into Perry, who then, at the end of his solo, bumped him back. Only he sent the singer off the edge of the catwalk and into the crowd. Whether this was accidental or not, you can see for yourself here.
The Toxic Twins have been at odds for some while, the latest incident being over Tyler’s intention of becoming a judge on American Idol.

this is hilarious, like kids throwing their toys out of the attic. fair play to the ‘ smiths, you do get value for money with their antics. I so hope we eventually see a documentary or series on the toxic twins’ relationship, whcih brings me neatly to the point that yet another band is now selling their music via drama and dysfucntion rather than the music itself. Sweet Emtion!

Thanks for the triple-post there, Denzil.
Such a good comment he posted it 3 times !!!!!!!!!!
I am surprised the mods let them all through, maybe it is a slow posting day.
Just goes to show that despite trying to look and dress like someone in their 20s, their actually just a couple of frail old men…You wouldn’t go and shove your mum or dad like that for fear of breaking a hip or a leg..At least the Stones still pull it off with a bit of grace on stage these days!!!
Maybe they should change the lyrics to ‘loving it up when he’s falling down’!
Kick his motherfuckin ass Joe.
First it was ” Aerosmith to get new singer ” now it’s ” Joe Perry pushes Steve Tyler of stage ” , really classic rock , do you have to stoop to such levels ? If I wanted to read the gossip press I’d buy a copy of the Sun ! Why don’t you stick to your guns and write about what you know as this , will probably turn out to be another load of old bollocks !
How about giving us something fresh to read about , an article about Leaf Hound or Pat Travers maybe a story about the great forgotten Paul Kossoff , or even better a review of “The book of invasions” by Horslips !
Come on CR you’re better than that , leave the crap and get back on track !
Ugh! JUST END IT ALREADY!!
You both have enough money to be comfortable for several lifetimes.
Please stop this sad parody of a band that used to actually be cool.
Gene and Paul may be a bigger joke than these two, But at least KISS put out a decent record last year. What have these sad old clowns done besides further destroy their credibility?
I feel sorry for these guys, because they’re getting their hardcore fans’ backs up! In the ’80s, they could do no wrong, but now…
Seeing that Steven is the guy who’s destroying Aerosmith’s credibility by doing American Idol, all I can say is I want to shake Joe Perry’s hand. That band deserves better.
sad to say the smiths should have stopped after pump cos they haven’t been able to make anything half as good since,
Benny – it’s rock and roll mate. what do you want? people complain it’s become too safe but then when sh!t happens you all come out and tell em to sod off and they’re old clowns! I’d rather this than some faggy-ass spritzy water drinking wannabe rockband with GHD’s firmly holstered to their belts steal all the press.
Watch you don’t put your hip out there Joe.
