Track Of The Day: Triumph
Celebrated Canadians Triumph are to have 10 of their albums reissued in digipack format on December 6 by Frontiers. To celebrate, we are giving away a song from each album as a Track Of The Day over the next couple of weeks, starting with a song from In The Beginning. Check out all the recent Tracks Of The Day here.
In The Beginning, also known as Triumph, was the debut album from the trio of Rik Emmett (guitar/vocals), Mike Levine (bass/vocals) and Gil Moore (drums/vocals). Released in 1976, it came just a year after the band had played their first ever show, on September 19, 1975, at a high school. It established their style of epic, almost progressive metal.
Now you can download the song 24 Hours A Day for free here. This is the only song in the band’s career where Levine sings lead vocals.

In The Beginning will also be part of a 10-CD limited edition box set, featuring the original vinyl artwork for each album.
