Sumptuous melodies, real powerhouse performances. These were the trademarks of Swedish hard rockers Treat in the 1980s. Now they’re back, and have given us the latest Track Of The Day. Check out all the latest Tracks Of The Day.After releasing five albums – from 1985’s Scratch And Bite to 1992’s self-titled record – the band split up, with various members of going to work with the likes of Talisman, Gotthard and N’Sync. But in 2006, the band reunited, playing their debut comeback show at Sweden Rock that year.
Now, they’ve just released new album Coup De Grace, featuring the line-up of vocalist Robert Emlund, guitarist Anders Wikstrom, bassist Nalle Pahlsson, keyboard player Patrick Appelgren and drummer Jamie Borger.
“It’s been 25 years in the making”, says Wikström of the new album. “Since day one I knew we had this album in us. The ideas were there. The vision. But it took us this long to find the right tools to make it all come true.”
