Track Of The Day: Tokyo Blade
Tokyo Blade have just released their 10th studio album. They’re celebrating by offering the latest Track Of The Day. Check out all Tracks Of The Day here.
The veteran UK band started as Killer in 1981, becoming Genghis Khan and finally Tokyo Blade. Cult heroes of the NWIBHM scene, their self-titled debut album came out in 1983. Since then, the band have undergone many line-up changes, while also touring with the likes of Metallica, Venom, Blue Oyster Cult, Dio, Ozzy and Scorpions.
Now they’ve got 80 percent of the original line-up back together. Those involved are guitarists Andy Boulton and John Wiggins, bassist Andy Wrighton and drummer Steve Pierce. On vocals is Nicolaj Ruhnow.
The latest album from the band is titled Thousand Men Strong, which was produced by Chris Tsangarides.
