Track Of The Day: TNT
Veteran Norwegian melodic rockers TNT have a new album due out on January 24. From it, they’ve chosen one song to be the latest Track Of The Day. Check out all Tracks Of The Day here.
Formed in 1982 in Trondheim, TNT gained an international reputation through their second album, 1984’s Knights Of The New Thunder with Ronni le Tekro (one of only two founder-members still in the line-up; the other being drummer Diesel Dahl) getting recognition as a true guitar hero.
Since then the band have released nine further albums, with 1987’s Tell No Tales not only topping the Norwegian charts, but also making the Top 100 in the US. Now with Shy singer Tony Mills onboard (plus bassist Victor Borge), TNT are at their best on new album A Farewell To Arms (called Engine in Norway, where it came out at the end of December), to be issued on the Metal Heaven label.
Mills, for whom this is the third TNT album, has just announced that he will be concentrating fully on this band, having decided to part from his other project, Serpentine, which has got to be good news for TNT.
