Track Of The Day: Theatre Of Tragedy

Popular Norwegian band Theatre Of Tragedy might have split up last year, but they provide the latest Track Of The Day. Check out all Tracks Of The Day here.

The band started in 1993, and in a 17-year career released seven albums, the last of which was Forever Is The World, put out in 2009. Although the Stavanger band started off in the goth metal genre, they developed a more industrial sound as the music developed.

The band played their last show on October 2, 2010 in their home town. This was filmed and recorded and is to be released as CD/DVD. Titled The Last Curtain Call, it’s to be released by AFM on May 23. The full track listing for the DVD is:

The DVD also has an ‘on the road’ documentary, interviews with members of the band and footage from the band’s last ever rehearsal. The CD release will be a double disc.
