When Thunder split up just a few months ago, guitarist Luke Morley lost no time in getting a new project off the ground. It’s called The Union, and they provide our Track Of The Day. Click here for previous Tracks Of The Day.

Joining Morley in this band is former Winterville vocalist/guitarist Pete Shoulder.

Says Morley of this, erm, union:

“I met Pete eight years ago and I knew instantly that he had an unbelievable voice that could really move people. He‘s also a very impressive guitar player. We’ve worked together ever since whenever our previous commitments allowed us time.

“When Thunder decided to call it a day earlier in the year, working with Pete was the most obvious next move for me. It felt like we’d been heading that way for a while so I wasn’t about to fight it!”

The band’s style is said to be wider than Thunder’s, with both parties enjoying working with the other. Now The Union are ready to make their live debut. This is due to happen at a small London venue in mid-December, which is to be filmed for release as a DVD. Details will be announced shortly of how you can get tickets for this event.
