Track Of The Day: The Union
One of the most anticipated moments of this month will be the live debut of The Union on December 15 at The Relentless Garage in London. It’s when former Thunder guitarist Luke Morley and one-time Winterville frontman Peter Shoulder unveil what they’re all about. However, in an effort to give us all a taste of what’s to come, they’ve provided another free song, for the latest Track of The Day. Check out all the recent Tracks Of The Day here.
The combination of Morley and Shoulder could make The Union of the most exciting bands of 2010. They’re planning to go into the studio next month, to record an album, with a release likely in March. Says Morley:
“The songs we’ve written so far cover a wider musical territory than Thunder and it’s a wonderful thing for me to be co-writing with someone after so many years of being locked up in a room on my own!”
For the Garage show, the pair will be augmented by ex-Thunder bassist Chris Childs and current Quireboys/former Tokyo Dragons drummer Phil Martini.
