Track Of The Day: Smashing Pumpkins
Living up to his vow to make every new Smashing Pumpkins track available for free, Billy Corgan has posted yet another of the band’s songs for download. This, natch, is our latest Track Of The day. Check out all the recent Tracks Of The Day here.
The new Pumpkins songs is titled Widow Make My Mind and is a lot slower and moodier than the previous downloadable song, Song For A Son.
Both of these tracks are part of a series of EPs being released by the band. The other two songs are to be Astral Planes and A Stitch In Time.
In all, the band are to make 44 songs available for free download.
In addition to all of this, Corgan has also started up his own label. This will not only sign new, fresh talent, such as Fancy Space People and Starchildren, but also older, cult acts like The Germs, The Strawberry Alarm Clock and The Electric Prunes.

Billy Corgan no matter how much of a lyrical genius he is im ashamed he has treated the name of smashing pumpkins as if it was a brand name like Axl Rose has done dismissing his fellow bandmates.
44 songs for download, didn’t he ask his fans first if they wanted the songs on record he must think little of the record buying public.
Smashing Pumpkins are not the same without Iha, Darcy-Wretzky and Chamberlain!
Easily the worst song I’ve heard in years. It stick in your head and makes you feel noxious it’s so bad. Last time I’ll make the mistake of listening to the Smashing Pumpkins new material.
