Track Of The Day: The Good The Bad
Danish dizbusters The Good The Bad have been described as a cross between Link Wray and the Eagles Of Death Metal. They provide the latest Track Of The Day. Check out all the past Tracks Of The Day here.
The Good The Bad consist of The Adam on guitar, Johan Lei Gellett on drums and Manoj Ramdas on guitar.
Johan, who is also the band’s producer, is actually from Sweden. The Adam and Manoj, who used to play lead guitar for the much-acclaimed the Raveonettes, are the two Danish members. The trio met in Copenhagen.
The Good The Bad, who are an instrumental group, play wild and primitive psychedelic/surf music with a garage sound that would have sat well on any B-movie soundtrack of the late 50s and early 60s. Their debut album, From 001-017, was released in November 2010.
You will have to join the band’s mailing list to get ahold of the song. But, as a bonus, there are also some artistically nude model video type shenanigans for you to enjoy…
Legendary MC5 guitarist Wayne Kramer guested with The Good The Bad at the recent South By South West festival in Austin, Texas – and the on-stage sparks didn’t so much fly as hurtle up into the stratosphere and then disintegrate on re-entry. Check out the explosive video here.
