Track Of The Day: The Fabulous Penetrators

If the idea of 60s garage rock clashing directly with post-modern psych-out interests you, then East London blasters The Fabulous Penetrators could be the band for you. We’re giving you a chance to find out for nowt, as they provide the latest Track Of The Day. Check out all the Tracks Of The Day.

The band only started in 2006, after 50s-inspired vaudevillians Paloma & The Penetrators disbanded. Taking influences from The Sonics, The Cramps, Little Richard, ZZ Top and Sam & Dave, they also added in some Roxy Music glitz. The band – vocalist Liam Casey, guitarist/vocalist Steve Lowe, guitarist Crispin Weir, bassist/vocalist Clement C-Coulom and drummer Jose Felizardo – are about to release debut album With Love on the Stag-O-Lee label. You can also see the band live at the following London shows:

May 12: Staggs Head

May 14: South Of The Border (early evening set)

May 14: Mile End Victoria (late set)

May 15: Hoxton MacBeth

May 28: Bethnal Green Workingmen’s Club (album launch)
