From the London area, the foursome of Lord Zion (vocals), Cyndi Rott (guitar), Vikki Spit (bass) and Vile Gilez (drums) have been on the scene now for about five years. And this ’scene’ is glam, with a hint of punk rouge and metal eyelashes. You probably won’t be surprised to hear that they’ve covered Sweet Transvestite from The Rocky Horror Show. They really do believe in the maxim: don’t dream it, be it (to quote another Rocky Horror song).
So farm, they’ve also released four EPs, with titles such as The Pop Shot (a porno reference), Anarchy For Two, Dragged Kicked & Screaming and Sleaze Sells… But Who’s Buying? Now they’re ready to step up and show everything that trash, teaze and a dash of daring can go a long way.
They’ve set up their own merchandising company at www.smellyourmum.com… and the range of items includes T-shirts with legends such as: ‘Going to take over the world. Got distracted by something sparkly.’
