Track Of The Day: Red Fang
They just play loud, fast and heavy. They’re ‘somewhere between stoner and axe murderer’, according to reliable reports. They’re Red Fang – and they’re the subject of today’s suitably senses-shattering Track Of The, er, Day. Click here for previous Tracks Of The Day.
Let’s cut straight to the quick.
Red Fang is the latest effort from long-time bros and collaborators Bryan Giles (Last Of The Juanitas, Party Time), Aaron Beam (Dark Forces, Lachrymator), David Sullivan (Party Time, facedowninshit, Shiny Beast) and John Sherman (Party Time, Bad Wizard, Trumans Water, All Night).
The four have boiled down their disparate sounds to create the ONLY sound: Red Fang.
There’s an old-school sensibility to what Red Fang do, not only recalling Black Sabbath but Mötörhead as well, not to mention a bit of classic punk rock for an added touch of bile.
Red Fang’s Track Of The Day is called Witness.
Warning: the song begins like a sonic disaster zone but then gets much, much, much, much better. We promise. Don’t be scared. Download it now!
