Track Of The Day: Mimas

From Denmark, Mimas have been described as post rockers. But the fact that they’ve got huge melodies and a sense of quirky fun suggests they’re definitely at home in the classic rock arena. The foursome – Snævar Albertsson (vocals,/guitar/ trumpet), Daniel Beck (guitar), Lasse Dahl (drums) and Gert Jørgensen (bass/ vocals) – first introduced themselves with the EP Hands Will Carry in 2005, with debut album The Worries following in 2008 on the Big Scary Monsters label.

Now, the band are back with new album Lifejackets, just issued by the same label.
