Track Of The Day: Knifeworld

Some top names have contributed to a tribute album dedicated to Cardiacs singer Tim Smith, who’s been in hospital for two years after suffering a heart attack. One of these is the latest Track Of The Day. Check out all Tracks Of The Day.

The album is titled Leader Of The Starry Skies, and features 17 artists with their interpretations of Cardiacs songs in styles ranging from psychedelia to progressive punk. It’s released on December 6, and among those involved are Steven Wilson (Porcupine Tree), Andy Partridge (XTC), Cardiacs guitarist Kavus and his band Knifeworld and North Sea Radio Orchestra. All profits will go direct to Smith.
