Among the most celebrated musicians in  AOR circles, not only is bassist/vocalist Blades a crucial member of Night Ranger, but has also been part of the Damn Yankees and Shaw/Blades (alongside Tommy Shaw). And he’s also found time to release two solo albums. Jack Blades came out in 2004, and is now followed by Rock ’N’ Roll Ride on the Frontiers label. Not only does he have his Night Ranger bandmates guesting, among others, but he showcases every aspect of his vast and diverse abilities, from the Beatles-inspired West Hollywood (co-written with Cheap Trick’s Robin Zander) to ballad Hardest Word To Say and full on anthemic rocker Born For This.
