Track Of The Day: Green River Project
If you can imagine Yngwie Malmsteen guesting on an early Metallica song, then you’ll get an idea of where Green River Project are heading musically. Click here for previous Tracks Of The Day.
The Londoners feature the whirling widdly wails of guitarist Mick Priestly, allied to the vocals of Andy Law (vocals), Muggsy (bass) and Alex Martin (drums).
They’ve been around for under a year, but experiences in other bands – Nothin’ To Lose, Headrush, Social Head Removal – has given them a taste of what it takes to break through.
Among the hardest working bands around, Green River Project even turned up at the Bloodstock Open Air Festival last month. And they’re currently working on an album, From Hell To Here, as well as booking a major tour.
Check out our Track Of the Day, Dig Your Own Grave. It gives you a real insight into what drives them: http://www.hardaxe.net/bands/1722/
