Take three Italians, relocate them to London, add in a hot English vocalist, stir vigorously with influences from Soundgarden to Bullet For My Valentine… and voila! Goddass. Happily, they provide us with the latest Track Of The Day. For all the recent Tracks Of The Day, go here.

The story starts with vocalist/guitarist Al Salerno, his brother drummer T. Salerno and bassist Vendra. The band began in 2004, quickly building a good reputation across Europe as a strong live force. In 2008, they signed to EMG Records in Germany. This led to debut album My Beautiful Sin, produced by Matt Hyde (Slayer, Monster Magnet).

It’s at this point that the trio relocated to London, where last Autumn they met Rundell, in a pub in Limehouse! Not exactly a rock’n'roll haven. The result is that trio have become a four-piece, the Italians are now Anglo-Italian, and they’ve already recorded a three-track promo called Make You Sweat, which gives a decent indication of where Goddass are heading.

Now you can download the song Make You Sweat for free at www.myspace.com/goddass

That’s also the place to find out more about the band and their plans. Goddamn, it’s Goddass – now there’s an album title!
