Track Of The Day: Ex Libras
Ex Libras have just released a new single. Not, they’re not giving that away. But so keen are they to encourage Classic Rock readers to get into their music that they are exclusively giving another song to you lot for free. That’s why this is the current Track Of The Day. The band, who are no strangers to Track Of The Day, were actually formed in Houslow Public Library, where the three guys (guitarist/vocalist Amit Sharma, bassist/keyboard player Kieran Nagi and drummer Ross Kenning) worked together. Soon afterwards, they were linking rock with loops, beats and various oddball noises.
Taking influences from a variety of sources – including hip hop, orchestral, funk, electronic and jazz – they say their music is ‘alternative with a groove’. They’ve just released the new single Underachiever, from debut album Suite(s), which was released last year. You may buy that here.
