David Reece is a vocalist you might recall from his brief time with Accept, replacing Udo Dirkschneider for the 1989 album Eat The Heat. But he’s been working constantly ever since, and he provides the latest Track Of The Day. Click here for previous Tracks Of The Day.

Since those times with Accept, Reece has fronted Bangalore Choir, Lillian Axe, Sircle Of Silence and Gypsy Rose. But now he’s back with a solo album, Universal Language, recently released by Metal Heaven.

Says Reece: “This record is truly an expression of my life’s journey, a melodic hard rock album full of big choruses and strong grooves that showcases past, present and future.

Andy (Susemihl, guitarist on the record as well) is a world class producer, who will no doubt be a force to be reckoned with and it’s been a privilege working with Jochen (Fuenders, bass, from Holy Moses) and Stefan (Schwarzmann, drums, who’s played with Krokus and Helloween), who really gave their all to make this album what it is.”

The band make their live debut on December 4 in Belgium. And Reece is also busy writing songs for the next Bangalore Choir album.
