Charlie Forsberg herself has been likened to Courtney Love and Amy Lee, and is influenced by The Hellacopters, Joan Jett and Hole. She began her career in a band called Charlie’s Drugstore, but when they split up. Charlie worked on a solo album with producer Arvid Solvang. Called Citizen Charlie, it was released in 2008. Signing soon after to Rocksector, she toured the UK twice in 2009, returning last summer for a nine-date tour that included a slot on the SOS Festival in Manchester, and also a gig opening for Tigertailz.

Late last year the band (Forsberg, guitarists Ola Hakon Svendsen and Niko Grasaasen, bassist Jon Oyvind Nordby and drummer Fredrik A. Olsen) release second album Up Yours. Now, as they prepare for a UK tour in July, you can download the song Faith No More for free right here.
