Butterfly Fan The Inferno is name for a Birmingham quartet who’s music is a lot more palatable than their name. They provide the latest Track Of The Day. Check out all Tracks Of The Day.
The band have been compared to Queens Of The Stone Age, Talking Heads, Red Hot Chili Peppers and Cake. It was started in 1999 by guitarist/vocalist John Kelly, although they didn’t really get going until seven years later, when they first began to do gigs.
Now the current line-up – also featuring guitarist Tony Wilkinson, bassist Jase Holgate and drummer Paul Collins – have been busy in the studio, recording the songs Brassneck and Fanatic with producer Gavin Monaghan (Robert Plant, Kings Of Leon). The former is to be released as a single on November 29.
