Track Of The Day: Buckcherry
Buckcherry’s new album All Night Long is one of the most eagerly anticipated records of the summer. To provide a tasty introduction to the record, the band provide the latest Track Of The Day. Check out all the Tracks Of The Day.
Originally formed in 1995, the Los Angeles hard rockers had huge success with the albums Buckcherry (1999) and Time Bomb (2001) but seemingly split in 2002. However, the Bucks were revived in 2005 when vocalist Josh Todd and guitarist Keith Nelson got back together. Now joined by rhythm guitarist Stevie D, bassist Jimmy ‘Two Fingers’ Ashhurt and drummer Xavier Muriel, they stormed back with the album 15 in 2006 (their first million-seller in America), following that with Black Butterfly two years later, the first record by the band to make it into the US Top 10.
Now comes All Night Long, released this summer. Says Nelson of what we can expect: “It’s definitely a rock’n'roll record. I think that we’ve grown, we’ve expanded, lyrically, musically, as songwriters and as musicians. I think it’s next logical step in our evolution.”
You may download the title song (i.e. All Night Long) for free at www.buckcherry.com. Todd explains why they’ve done this: “We wanted our fans to have it first and for free as a thank you for all of their support.” Don’t worry if your free download is taking time to come through, since Classic Rock published this info the site has been deluged with requests. This has caused a massive backlog, but it is being slowly worked through.
