Track Of The Day: Allen/Lande

The combination of Symphony X singer Russell Allen and Masterplan vocalist Jorn Lande has already brought us two acclaimed albums. Now, as the duo prepare to release a third one, they provide the latest Track Of The Day. Check out all Tracks Of The Day.

The pair first worked together on the 2005 album The Battle, returning two years later with The Revenge. The pair will put out new album The Showdown through Frontiers Records on November 8.

Once again the songs have been written by producer Magnus Karlsson of Primal Fear fame (who also plays guitar, bass and keyboards. The drummer is Jaime Salazar), with the record being mixed by Achim Kohler.

Says Karlsson:

“Musically, this album is a mix of both previous releases, with The Battle being more melodic and The Revenge more in the hard rock direction.  I’m more than  satisfied than ever with the songs and performances.”
