A Looking In View is the first new track to be made available from AIC’s new album, Black Gives Way To Blue.

About A Looking In View, Alice In Chains vocalist/guitarist Jerry Cantrell says: “The song basically speaks to any number of things that keep you balled up inside. A cell of our own making with an unlocked door that we choose to remain in. Focusing our attention inward instead of reaching out to a much larger world. I think this is common to us all. It’s funny how hard we fight to hang on to a bone we can’t pull through a hole in the fence, or how difficult it is to put down the bag of bricks and move on.”
Alice in Chains will be part of this year’s Sonisphere festival and will also play their own sold-out headline show at London’s Scala on August 4th.
Sonisphere will be headlined by Metallica and Linkin Park and will take place on August 1st – 2nd at Knebworth. Also on the bill will be Heaven & Hell, Nine Inch Nails, Bullet For My Valentine, Avenged Sevenfold, Machine Head, Lamb Of God, Alice In Chains, Mastodon, Anthrax, Airbourne, Thin Lizzy, Killing Joke and The Sword.
I dont see it listed anywhere? I dont think its free as its available to buy on iTunes and Amazon.
I’ve got, I followed the link given above and filled in my email address on their web-site. A few minutes later I got an email with a link.
I’m playing it now. It’s good stuff if you like Alice in Chains!
I got it free by going to http://www.aliceinchains.com on the jomepage they had a form to sign up, then I got an email with the link to the free download. The sign up form is still up.
