Top 10 Thunder Tracks

5. River of Pain (acoustic)

If you’ve never heard this acoustic version of 1997’s ‘River of Pain’, get stuck in right now!

4. Gimme Some Lovin’

“I’ve got an idea for a video. It involves girls in bikini’s. Lots of ‘em!” You cannot argue with the principles of why this video rules…the song’s not half-bad either!

3. Dirty Love

That ‘Dirty Love’ isn’t an all-time favourite with rock fans the world over is a bloody crime. There. We said it. Don’t even think about arguing. You’re not arguing? Good.

2. Backstreet Symphony

The title track of their debut album remains a reason to be proud of the rock and roll that this country can produce when we put our minds to it.

1. Love Walked In

As far as rock ballads go, this is nigh on perfection. If it was released this now, it’d be all over radio, all over what’s left of MTV and would have made Thunder one of the biggest bands on the planet. There’s just no justice. Just to enforce the fact that Thunder continue to rule live, here’s a live version of the song from 2007.

I think one the more overlooked Thunder tracks is “The Devil Made Me Do It” from Robert Johnsons Tombstone. Great song!!!

Please don’t do it, guys.
Find a way !

Regardless – thanks for 20 years of absolutely great albums, songs and shows.

Saw Thunder in Exeter last year, one of the best bands I have ever seen life, always been a fan, such a shame.

Thunder are one of my favourite bands. Seen them many times, even as Terraplane. Met them too. So I was absolutely gutted when I heard this news but it’s their decission and you have to respect it.

I wish all members Good Luck in all what they do and would like to Thank them for all the Great Music & Memories.

Maybe they will play the odd reunion show for The Fans you never know.

R.I.P. Thunder.
