Thor – The Rock Opera Is Coming

Prepare yourself for the arrival of the ultimate film for 2011. Yes, Thor – The Rock Opera is on the way.

We are talking about Thor, as in the man renowned for extolling the virtues of Thunder On The Tundra and blowing up hot water bottles onstage. The movie, which stars Jon Mikl Thor (the man himself), is to be shown in London, Ontario from April 29 to May 2, and then taken to an opera house in Helsinki. Each screening will be followed by a live performance from Thor himself.

Bu that’s not all. Because from June 2-4, it will be part of the Thor International Film Festival in Alvesta, Sweden. Also on this bill are such glories of gore as Rock ’N’ Roll Nightmare, Zombie Nightmare, Recruits, Ride From Hell.

No sign of anything in Britain as yet. Come on, we love seriously silly stories!
