The Quireboys Release New Football Anthem

The Quireboys have released a brand new track in honour of footballing behemoths, Blyth Spartan.

The Conference League giant killers have remarkably made it into the 3rd round of this season’s FA Cup and will take on Premiership (sort of) giants, Blackburn Rovers on January 5th. To celebrate the occasion, The Quireboys guitarist and long-term Spartans fan Paul Guerin has co-written ’We’re The Famous Blyth Spartans (And We’re Going To Wembley)’, a track that’s being lauded as “the catchiest football anthem since ‘Three Lions’”.

The Quireboys’ ‘We’re The Famous Blyth Spartans (And We’re Going To Wembley)’ is available now for the incredibly wallet-friendly price of 79p and all proceeds from the record are being donated to the children’s charity Make A Wish Foundation.
