A glorious time for a spotty 14/15 year old herbert, the marquee, hammersmith odeon, reading and donnington and tv on the radio. And nearly 30 years later, UFO still a fantastic live and recording band. Is Neil Kay still alive? 12 months early for me, sadly but did get to see Maiden on their 1st headlining tour in 80 – better reception than camden.

Since then, there have been various interesting articles in Classic rock regarding some excellent bands from that era( and i am not talking about def leppard, saxon, iron maiden etc) What I want to know is - Isn't it about time Classic Rock released a one off special WHOLE magazine just about NWOBHM? i for one would definately be shelling out for that! hi folks!
