I love classic Saxon (Wheels of Steel, Strong arm…) But I think Labrynth is a pale comparison to the glory days.. Too many cheesy cliche’s, too many keyboards… this is supposed to metal dammit!

As far as rock goes, ‘Octahedron’ by The Mars Volta + ‘Crack The Skye’ by Mastodon need to be there or this list means nothing.

while saxon .. saxon made a career restoring album they are a killer start of the year and my mate agree 100% as well
