Supertramp Line Up Gig At London’s O2

Supertramp have announced their 70-10 Tour, celebrating 40 years since the release of their first album Supertramp in 1970.

However, as previously reported by Classic Rock, a notable absentee from the band’s line-up will be co-founder-member Roger Hodgson.

Supertramp have so far only announced one UK date: October 6 at London’s O2 Arena.

Joining Supertramp’s other co-founder, lead singer and keyboardist, Rick Davies, are John Anthony Helliwell and Bob Siebenberg. Veterans of past Supertramp tours, Jesse Siebenberg, Cliff Hugo, Carl Verheyen and Lee Thornburg will round out the line-up.

The band are developing a new stage production that, we hear, ‘will provide the audience with a total Supertramp experience, a delight for both the eyes and ears’. Rehearsals are currently under way in New York.

Supertramp say they intend to play a two-hour-plus show featuring ‘a plethora of classics from their 40-year history’.
