In reply to Psy, has he tried (from the UK) Classic Rock Society – the best “prog” mag in the UK, see http://theclassicrocksociety.blogspot.com/ and (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Classic_Rock_Society). Or (from the US) Progression Magazine, see http://www.progressionmagazine.com. These are both excellent magazines.

So let me get this straight – you paid the £7.99 price in the newsagents for the Rush issue without batting an eyelid, and then think the subscription rate of £5.99 is too high? Is maths not your strong point, or did you beg, borrow or steal the last issue?

And yes, it’s expensive, but it’s bloody worth it!

I completely agree chaps, but where else can you get such a good magazine covering Prog? For me it’s an essential cover-to-cover read and I’ve discovered numerous new bands from the free CDs. Expensive yes, but I’m unavoidably drawn to it and subscribed without thinking about it. Might as well face it… I’m addicted to prog.

Yeah, it’s a really expensive mag for what it is, especially as it seems to be coming out every two months and most of us are already forking out £4.50 for the “standard” Classic Rock mag. I am starting to get the impression that we’re being taken advantage of.
