Slash got together with none other than Engelbert Humperdinck to perform on Canadian TV show The Hour this week. They teamed up with Dave Stewart of Eurythmics fame under the name of Faster Disaster. Now, the rumour mill is suggesting ol’ Engelbert, known for such hits as Release Me and The Last Waltz, could be the man for Velvet Revolver.
It reminds us of the time that Tom Jones was linked with Black Sabbath all those years ago!
Who knows if this will ever happen. Good for all I guess if it does.
Enge knows what’s best for his career and his fans. This sounds a little “iffy” to me but I’m sure he’ll make the best decision.
This just shows that Enge is not linked to only one
genre. He is also about to record with a very young trio of girls, to prove that he can do “anything” and “everything” and do it well, to keep up with all
ages.
