See First Trailer For The Runaways Film

The first trailer for the movie The Runaways has just been made public.The story of the controversial all-girl group stars Kristen Stewart as Joan Jett, Dakota Fanning as Cherie Currie, Scout Taylor-Compton as Lita Ford and Stella Maeve as Sandy West.
The film, which also features Michael Shannon as the band’s producer/manager Kim Fowley, will premier at the Sundance Film Festival next year.

I had my doubts about this when I first heard the news, but I have to say, the trailer puts my mind at ease. Especially promising is Kristen Stewart, finally getting some great roles to compensate for the 4-legged estrogen-beast known as the Twilight series. Now all we need is a trailer for the film of The Dirt, or at least some confirmation that it’s still going ahead!
Wonder if they’ll include the story about one member turning blue in a bathroom screaming
“fist-fuck me bitch!” Or the suicide attempt. Or another girl’s miss-hap with the american sailors
and the beer bottle which broke? Plenty of material to choose from…
